This relatively new site is being operated on a contract basis on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Labor.
Quote: “We’re here even to support you even after you’ve separated. These Transition Resources are available to you through this portal. You can access them before, during or after your military-to-civilian transition – whenever you need them.” (End Quote)
This site allows you to download the transition guide for active Duty as well as for Reserve and it offers information on topics ranging from relocation to Health-care. You can also create your own individual transition plan, browse the employment hub, search job listings and post your resume for employers to find.
This site is trying to become your one stop for Transition Information. What’s your opinion on that? Are they succeeding?
