April 10th

Groundbreaking for Peterson’s new housing from 2:30pm to 4:00pm in the field next to housing at the intersection of Stewart Avenue and Mitchell Street. For additional Information, please call Johnna Phillips at 556-4332.

April 14th

Last day to register for the 5th Annual Red Cross Charity Golf Tournament. The Tournament is on April 18th at the Silver Spruce Golf Course on Peterson. The entry fee is $20 and includes green and cart fees. Prized and Giveaways for winning teams are given out. For rules and additional info, please call 556-7590.

April 18th

Job Shadow Day at Peterson Air Force Base. 8th Graders from surrounding schools will have the opportunity to visit Peterson and learn about the Military. Airmen can volunteer to host students for approx. two hours, showing them their specific mission. For more info, or to volunteer, please contact Tech. Sgt. Showna Gantt at 556-3940 or Tech. Sgt.     My dad was stationed on Peterson AFB the last 5 years he was in the Air Force. My family and I lived at 501B McCord Street. Peterson AFB was one of the most greatest places to live and I would love to some day go back just to visit and show my girls where I used to live.
