Colorado Springs Fireworks – Happy Independence Day

While Fireworks in the City of Colorado Springs are not permitted – there are plenty of other option surrounding town.

The Air Force Academy will have the Colorado Springs Philharmonics play prior to a 9:30 pm fireworks show – which is open to the public! Just be aware – random vehicle checks will happen, coolers, alcohol, grills, personal fireworks and dogs (other than service dogs) are NOT allowed. The Academy is asking people to please use the north gate – exit 156B on I-25.

Manitou Springs will also start their fireworks at (around) 9:30 pm. It will follow the annual “Buffalo Bar-B-Q” which will be held from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Soda Springs Park.

Woodland Park celebrate an “Old Fashioned Fourth Of July” from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at Memorial Park. (Fishing Contest, food, Vendors) Fireworks will be launched at the Woodland Park High School at dusk.

Monument’s fireworks will start at 9:15 pm at the Palmer Lake Fireworks Extravaganza following activities at Palmer Lake which start at 11:00 am Sunday.

Cripple Creeks fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:30 pm at City park, choreographed to patriotic music and visible anywhere in town. (Great spot to view them is the overlook near the Molly Kathleen Mine…)
